Basically, I've turned off all AI aircraft and cars, ships etc are very low. I suspect that I may need to reduce my sliders though, as I am an eye candy person. The Citation is a "favourite" and I've flown it often without incident, so I doubt that there is an issue with the aircraft.

I have all the Australian Orbx scenery, so you can imagine the performance issues in the Melbourne area, as there are a number of high detail airports in that area. I will attempt the same flight in the default Learjet, just to see what happens. I experienced smooth flight and no issues. This morning I flew the Carenado Barron into Moorabbin from Albury (too slow to fly the same route as the Citation). As a result, I've been flying a number of test flights to look for potential issues before recommencing my flying on-line (nothing more frustrating then prematurely ending a flight on-line).Īs you suggested, I've already considered and flown routes into Moorabbin using another aircraft to re-create the error. I've made a number of other changes to the system based on forum advice to eliminate other Fatal Errors and missing textures on aircraft along with various performance tweaks. So far, I've only received the error when making this flight in the Flight1 Citation Mustang, using the FMC to manage the route CN GLB CB MAY MB. I will obtain the latest FSUIP to eliminate any potential issues. Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on my issue. Have you looked at the AVSIM forum "AVSIM CTD guide.pdf" it may give you some new leads to follow regarding g3d'dll error CTD's. I might add that your system specs are a little on the low side for flying into the greater Melbourne area YMMB, while this should not bring about g3d.dll errors it could bring about VAS OOM, by having several highly detailed Orbx Sceneries enabled and higher than normal scenery resolutions & autogen (Slider settings) and / or too much AI Aircraft / Cars Ships Boats / Ground Service Vehicles, or TML higher than (default 1024) or 2048, LOD radius settings higher than default 4.500000 can also add greater burden to a lower spec machine. Have you disabled all other addons (NON Orbx) in the Scenery Library, confirming that the Error has stopped, then one by one re-enabling re-flying the fault scenario until the fault returns, (it may indicate if scenery/airfield is causing the CTD). If CTD stops occurring it might indicate a fault with an AI aircraft model or AI aircraft texture specific to the area or surrounding airfields on your approach to YMMB. Temporarily disable AI Aircraft, re-fly the route. (This will eliminate the possibility of complex aircraft factors). Have you tried the same flight with a Default aircraft. Try reducing your Autogen to normal or dense, (see if this eliminates the g3d.dll CTD's for the YCDN to approach to YMMB route). Observation flights can be useful for trouble shooting)

(Good for others to testfly your route in same season, time, aircraft, altitude, Sim Settings. Have you installed any AI aircraft or AI utility program that could suddenly insert as you approach the greater Melbourne area from OZx-Camden into FTX-YMMB.Īre you flying a direct GPS route between YCDN & YMMB. Your g3d.dll CTD could be caused by something as simple as an specific aircraft you like to fly, or gauge, effect, texture or module used by that aircraft, or some un-optimised freeware scenery (Non orbx) can also bring about such CTD's. I suspect as Nick suggested, there is still something unique to your setup causing g3d.dll CTD's, I don't believe there are any specific Orbx sceneries that can cause g3d.dll CTD's, but if you would take a look in your last example of "Windows Error Report" where the Latest CTD occurred it may reveal a specific combination of faulting module errors getting you closer to a possible cause.
Ship simulator extremes dll error update#
If it were me I would update to the latest Full version v4.964 (Jan 26th 2017) which has the error handling module. The FSUIPC4 version you have v4.714 is prior to the error handling version v4.827.
